Aleknaičiai School Archive

Aleknačių mokyklos archyve pasakojama apie buvusios Aleknaičių ir iš dalies Lygumų mokyklų istoriją. Dauguma šiame archyve esančių nuotraukų sukurtos buvusio abiejų mokyklų mokytojo Stasio Grušo, o tekstai – remiantis Aleknaičių mokykloje besimokiusių ir jos bendruomeniniame gyvenime dalyvavusių žmonių pasakojimais apie su Aleknaičių mokykla susijusias 1932–2000 m.

Aleknaičiai School Archive contains stories and photographs of the former Aleknačiai and partially Lygumai schools. Most of the photographs in this archive were taken by Stasys Grušas, a former teacher of both schools. The texts are based on narratives from people who studied at the Aleknačiai school and took part in its community life. They talk about activities related to the Aleknačiai school that occurred between 1932 and 2000.

Nearly all of the photographs in this archive, which were taken from 1982 onwards, were collected, archived, and preserved by the photographer Stasys Grušas and his wife Bronė Grušienė until the late 20th century. The authors of the other photographs remain unknown.
