This summer Akee opened the ‘Clay Playground’ – an outdoor space for clay games and creative experiments!

The remains of the endangered clay buildings in the Pakruojis district are a unique element of the area, marking the past and present close relationship of the place and its inhabitants with this material. Following the traces of the Aleknaičiai landscape, the artists used the clay excavated in the Akee area as a tool for imagination, exploration and storytelling, and invited local students and visitors to participate in the creation of a clay game archive.
